Countryside and Mountains (El Campo y las Montañas) In this lesson, we will explore Spanish vocabulary and phrases related to countryside and mountain life. Objectives By the end of this lesson, you will be able to: Identify and use Spanish vocabulary related to the countryside, mountains, and rural activities. Understand and use phrases to describe rural life, discuss nature, and talk about outdoor activities in the countryside and mountains. Discuss your experiences and thoughts on countryside and mountain life in Spanish. Vocabulary Countryside Terms: campo (countryside), granja (farm), prado (meadow), bosque (forest), etc. Mountain Terms: montaña (mountain), pico (peak), sendero (trail), valle (valley), etc. Rural Activities: senderismo (hiking), acampar (to camp), pescar (to fish), montar a caballo (horse riding), etc. Phrases Me gusta hacer senderismo en las montañas. (I like hiking in the mountains.) La vida en el campo es muy tranquila. (Life in the countryside is very peaceful.) Vamos a acampar en el bosque este fin de semana. (We're going camping in the forest this weekend.) Desde el pico de la montaña, la vista es impresionante. (From the peak of the mountain, the view is breathtaking.)
