Feeling & Moods in Spanish
To express feelings or moods in Spanish, it is necessary to know basic adjectives such as bien, mal or regular but, of course, we will demonstrate greater fluency if we learn more words.
Let's remember that there is a very important verb in Spanish to describe these states; and this is the verb estar which is used "to express a certain state of the subject".
REMEMBER NOT TO USE THE VERB SER BUT ESTAR when we refer to how someone is feeling at any given moment. Many of these adjectives can be used with both verbs, but be careful, they usually have different meanings. Let's see an example of what we are saying.
María es muy guapa (María has that characteristic as part of her physique).
María está my guapa (María is beautiful at a specific moment)
